The Full Story Of
How it happened
Like Many things recently MNDC grew due to the pandemic and Lockdowns of 2020. As a Dance teacher myself it was getting incredibly frustrating as the island opened back up but we were still unable to attend any of the conventions and competitions that had been organised for that year.
When it dawned on me why not bring a convention here! now it was not going to be the same as it was all done via zoom. However it gave the island's dancers something to look forward to!
I started planning that day and now it has grown to an annual event for all to look forward to.
Vision
We aim to keep getting bigger and bigger each and every year. To give those who may not get the opportunity to go away and compete or take part in workshops the chance to do it minus the Travel costs!
It is very important to us that although we are sheltered here on the isle of man we are able to create unique opportunities for those wishing to pursue performing arts as if they were in England.
First stop is in person workshops and judges. We have so many new and exciting things in the pipeline for 2022 and cannot wait to share it all with you!
